At Ecoficus, we grow and craft high-quality products from the Calabacita de Almoharín fig — a native variety from our village, where our fields are rooted, and where we are proud to champion a local fruit that brings prosperity to our land.
We practice regenerative farming: preserving ground cover, protecting soil structure, preventing erosion, and — by avoiding tilling — reducing emissions and minimizing our carbon footprint.

Cultivated by hand since Roman times, the Calabacita is one of the few vegan fig varieties. Known as the Baby fig, it is small in size, with an exceptionally thin skin and a naturally sweet flavor.
